AIR FRYER POTATOES AND SAUSAGE MEAL
The idea for this recipe actually came from a follower! She said she loved all of the one pot/pan meals like the BAKED SHEET PAN CHICKEN PARMESAN andCROCK POT BEEF STEW recipes but wanted some one pot meal recipes for her air fryer. So, that got the wheels turning for me. If I was going to come up with a recipe it had to be easy and family-friendly. So, I turned to my favorite Little potatoes for help.
WHY I LOVE TO USE LITTLE POTATOES IN THE AIR FRYER
- They hold up really well to the air fryer cooking process. They wont turn to absolute mush but will hold their shape and still be deliciously creamy and tender.
- They hold up well to any seasoning you add to them. You can taste the Little potato through the seasoning.
- They are super convenient. One (1.5 lb) bag is the exact amount I need for most of my recipes.
- Using Little potatoes cuts down on my prep work. They are already pre-washed. All I have to do is slice them in half!
- They add nutrition.Little potatoes are fully grown potatoes in a small package.
TIPS FOR MAKING THIS AIR FRYER MEAL:
- Purchase fully-cooked smoked sausage dont buy raw. Use whatever smoked sausage is your familys favorite.
- Turkey sausage or vegetarian sausages will all work for this recipe.
- Make sure to occasionally shake the basket while cooking. This will help to ensure that everything gets evenly cooked.
- Add additional veggies that your family loves. Broccoli, green peppers and cauliflower work wonderful in this.
