out sitting arrangement. This place is kinda my work station too.

Hey Hey Hey!

I know I am exactly 9 days behind to post our April updates. Why this delay? Well, I am still struggling to settle down here in the new country. I didn’t imagine that This could be so challenging to settle down and start life at a new place. This blog is struggling too along with me. Right now, Can you guys just pray for me? Thanks in advance 🙂

April 2020 – Settling down in Canada.

Let me ask you first, How is your quarantine going? Well, Mine is going somewhere between good and okay. I am not feeling sad because I won’t be able to explore the new city for a few months. I am feeling stressed actually whenever I think about when we will get back the normal life that we left behind in Pune. Does this happened with all the new immigrants or just with me? Anyways, Such as life – unpredictable and surprising.

The good news is, I finally able to find an online grocery option. Our home is almost set. Just a TV unit is remaining but we are not missing TV at all because of Netflix.

A quick look before we got our basic furniture

I finally find some of my favorite vegetables and fruits like drumsticks and kesar mangoes. Though, I couldn’t find the fresh ones, Frozen is working great so far.

I tried few new recipes this month. Broccoli stir fry is one of them and I served it with my almost perfect steamed rice and other Indian recipes.

COMING TO THE BLOG NEWS,

When I started this blog, I never thought to dive deeply in the blogging world. Later, I learn new things. This blog has seen so many ups and downs, Lack of stability, Lack of seriousness and many more issues. I am still working on the details to correct my mistakes because I still receive some feedbacks that my recipes are missing some ingredients.

Traffic update

The previous month was good so far for me when it comes to this blog. Because, After all of these instabilities, changes of locations, lack of recipe updates, some pandemic tensions, We have reached the highest number of visitors so far. Thank you guys For staying connected with us even though We are still not fulfilling your requests but We are working hard.

I can’t say about the performance from the past 1 and a half years because I was not tracking my blog traffic. I started working on these minor details only a few months back.

Income update

I have mentioned Ezoic few times here on the blog. I keep getting questions about my blog income. This month I am finally sharing my website revenue.

Last year around August- 2019, an Ezoic representative contacted me saying that they love our website and they wanted to optimize our ads. I was like whatttttt!!!!! what is ad optimization? what is ezoic? I never heard anything about advertising componies other than adsense.

I searched and searched. finally, I found that Ezoic is a google partner and other details. I said YES to them. Ads were live on our blog. I must mention here that their support is super awesome so far. My website was just a hobby blog and there were a lot details missing. With the help of ezoic, I sorted all the things slowly.

Now, I got to know that whenever you track your revenue, You must look for the RPM. My website until January 2020 was India based website. So, my RPM is pretty low. But I am happy because It is way more than adsense.

April 2020 income – $30.05 (Ezoic display ads)

Expenses,

Bluehost – $15.99

WP Recipe maker – $4.08

Total – $20.07

I am not counting my theme expense because It was purchased in early 2019.

few changes
