Meal Prep & Menu Plan for September 20 2021

This post contains affiliate links.  I’m bored with the meals I make, so I keep looking for alternatives.  This week I tried PlateJoy.  I love the idea, but I tried it for a week and decided it didn’t really work for our family.  Luckily, they have a 10 day free trial, so this experiment didn’t cost me anything.  I’ll keep searching for new ideas.  You would think with the whole Internet before me, filled with recipes, I wouldn’t be bored.  However, we are limited by my current food intolerances/medical issues, so my options are limited.

Meal Prep

I did make two snacks during the week for the kids, but I made them at different times, so no picture.

Menu Plan


Lunch–Yellow Tail, rice, cucumber salad
Dinner–BBQ Chicken, roasted potatoes, peas


Lunch–Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry


Lunch–Ribs, rice, cucumber salad
Dinner–Pork Stir Fry with Cabbage, Sweet Potatoes


Lunch–Chicken Nuggets, Tater Tots, Cucumber Salad, Tomatoes

Dinner–Paleo Stuffed Peppers, rice


Lunch–Tomato & Avocado Omelet (from PlateJoy), turkey, melon & cucumber kabobs
Dinner–Thai Chicken Patties with Fresh Cucumber Salad (from PlateJoy)


Lunch–Sloppy Joes, french fries, cucumber salad
Dinner–Easy Vegan Minestrone Soup, buttered bread


Lunch–Pulled pork sandwiches, nacho chips, cucumber salad
